Cliffs, Myths, and Collard Greens

This ENTIRE contrived "fiscal cliff" was totally created by the GOP as a result of the GOP BLOCKING President Obama from raising the debt ceiling, something which has ALWAYS been automatic, for EVERY President , Republican OR Democrat, UNTIL PRESIDENT Barack Obama was in office. I think if you run a little statistical correlation algorithm on the numbers, you will find it statistically SIGNIFICANT that the very FIRST time in HISTORY, a USA President has been BLOCKED from raising the debt ceiling, is ALSO the FIRST time the USA has a BLACK President. And NOW, the GOP is talking of BLOCKING him AGAIN, so it will have been done TWICE and BOTH times occurred with a BLACK USA President.

It is NOT about deficit SPENDING or DEBT. Bush, Jr. did Plenty of deficit SPENDING and ALSO increased DEBT, yet some of these very SAME Republican senators and representatives, NEVER balked at Bush Jr. raising the debt ceiling, in fact, many times. And the good old D.C. press corp ONLY seems to find deficit spending and debt a problem when a Democrat occupies the White House. The D.C. media seems to be obsessed with this hallucination of a 'fiscal cliff."

The "fiscal cliff" is a sham, a mirage, hallucination, fake, false, contrived emergency, shadow, vapor, smoke, ghost, not even as REAL as Bigfoot or Nessie or getting kidnapped by alien beings from far away galaxies ,who take you for a spin in their flying Escalade, after which you wake up, naked and confused, with a taser burn on your neck The only "cliff" I can find is Jimmy Cliff, so I listened to him sing, "I Can See Clearly Now," and come to think of it, I CAN see CLEARLY, and there is NO cliff of any kind ahead of me.

Mitch McTyrtle said, "make President Obama a one-term President." This, HOWEVER, did NOT work, so we are stuck with this mythical mirage of a "fiscal cliff" where, apparently folks are going to sucked into a whirling vortex of anti-matter before they finish their black-eyed peas and collard greens on January 1st, 2013. As for January 1st, I'm going to finish my black-eyed peas, collard greens, cornbread, jug of sweet tea, and don't plan on getting ANYWHERE near a CLIFF of ANY sort.

IF we do INDEED, go over this "cliff," we MUST make sure that the appropriate parties receive their JUSTIFIED blame. GOP is ALREADY on this PR offensive to appear "open to compromise" and will portray the Democrats as "unreasonable." The hapless lapdog news media will oblige the GOP, per usual, if we are not careful. Someone NEEDS to point out that this "FISCAL CLIFF" was created totally by the GOP solely because the GOP, for the FIRST time in USA history, blocked a USA President from raising the Debt Ceiling. ALL previous Presidents, regardless of party affiliation, have been allowed to RAISE the Debt Ceiling.


It is ONLY because this is the FIRST USA BLACK President that he was NOT allowed to raise the Debt Ceiling. ENOUGH is F'N ENOUGH of this RACIST BS. The ELECTION is OVER. Many of the SAME GOP legislators who BLOCKED President Obama on the Debt Ceiling, ALSO voted in FAVOR of RAISING the Debt Ceiling when Bush Jr. did IT. They ALSO voted in FAVOR of the Iraq Invasion, occupation, and all the Bush Tax Cuts, which are RESPONSIBLE for MOST of the DEBT and DEFICIT. They are HYPOCRITES at BEST. And the News media NEVER puts this in the proper context and EXPLAINS how the F*CK we got HERE.

I am so TIRED of hearing this BS about this being “President Obama’s ECONOMY.” STOP harassing President Obama about the Economy. START asking the GOP, folks such as Mitch McTyrtle, John Boner, and Eric “I love Britney Spears” Cantor, who ACTUALLY are RESPONSIBLE for BREAKING the Economy, WTF THEY have DONE to help the Economy to RECOVER.

THEY have done NOTHING, and instead are RESPONSIBLE for doing ALL they can to SABOTAGE the Economy. THEY have the SAME goal as Al Qaeda, which is to DEFEAT President Obama and DESTROY the USA Economy. THIS IS the STATED GOAL of the GOP AND Al Qaeda. It does NOT get MUCH clearer than THIS.

But y'all REFUSE to state FACTS, BECAUSE, I UNDERSTAND it MUST be TOUGH competing for TRICKS these days and I KNOW the number ONE play in the Hooker's Handbook for High-Octane Clients is to indulge their EVERY fantasy, since we KNOW THESE particular clients can have FOX and Friends ANY old time, you MUST do WHATEVER you can to PLEASE them, and get them to SPEND that CASH with y'all. IF, it IS, up to the STATES as to WHO is ALLOWED to VOTE, then WTF is the PURPOSE of VOTING RIGHTS legislation and WTF have we RETURNED to a Jim Crow voting system? People sure do NOT seem too UPSET over LOSING their CONSTITUTIONAL Right to VOTE. AND WTF does the U.S. Constitution NOT apply to states such as Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Ohio? Just wait until election day when all the minority precincts have machine failures, power failures, switched locations, etc.

Once AGAIN, just how in the HELL, is PRESIDENT Obama to blame for the ECONOMY?

Hunter Thompson nailed it. The current GOP strategy of voter suppression is indeed an old one, for it actually predates the Republican Party itself. Then, it was the old "Jim Crow" Democrats from the South with all their poll taxes and ridiculous "Voter Eligibility Exams." After the Civil Rights and Voting Rights legislation was passed in the United States, these "Jim Crow" Democrats left the Democratic Party for the Republican Party as evidenced in Nixon's "Southern Strategy" of 1968.

It is no surprise, then, that when Republicans took control of of governor's offices and legislatures in 2010, that they would proceed with legislation that would limit voter turnout for certain parts of the electorate. These voting blocks were ALSO the SAME parts of the electorate who voted overwhelmingly for President Obama in 2008. The Republican Party decided, that limiting voter participation for large groups of voters likely to vote Democratic, would be a key element for their 2012 political campaigns.

However, in terms of the total election strategy Voter ID laws are just DISTRACTIONS. The REAL thievery is planned, coordinated, and executed via the electronic touch-screen voting systems and their tabulation procedures, where vote flipping is quick, easy, and not EVEN investigated. ALL they have to to is have PLAUSIBLE results that fall within the "margin of error" from a recent poll, and NOBODY will question them.

THEREFORE all they need to do is run the mathematical calculations to see how many votes they need to pilfer from what area that will not seem too out of line. A few hundred votes here, a few hundred there and BINGO your candidate carries the state. There are too many ways to do this to name them all, but this can be done in real-time, to adjust for conditions such as voter turnout.

Votes can be flipped by cellphones, smartphones, ipads, laptops, and a myriad of devices. Trojans and other malware such as zombies can also be dormant in the system, execute a one-time application and then delete itself and all traces that it has ever been in the system. So, I hope we've got the IT spooks or other such folks working these cases as we speak, gathering intelligence to prevent a repeat of 2000.

Voter requirements are often changed so that the voter is always confused about everything associated with voting. Voting precincts are changed, closed, and moved as part of the redistricting process. Voter requirements are also changed by state legislatures.

Among the most visible of these are State-Issued Photo-ID requirements. These are, by design, MEANT to confuse. A voter is required to produce the CORRECT official state documentation in order to qualify for the OFFICIAL State-Issued Photo-ID. For example, in South Carolina, even though STATE universities issue Photo-ID cards, THESE state-issued photo-IDs are NOT considered valid forms of identification for voting.

Also, in South Carolina, even though only SHORT-FORM birth certificates are issued at birth, the state REQUIRES a potential voter to produce a LONG-FORM birth certificate in order to obtain the OFFICIAL State-Issued Photo ID. In addition the State of South Carolina does NOT provide the Long-Form birth certificates free of charge. This creates a new version of poll tax.
